Job Description:

Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Director, the Scrub Tech scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Prepares and maintains supplies, instruments and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities. Ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, can multi-task, the ability to show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies, and can work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team. This facility is a multispecialty facility, Plastics, General Surgery, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic, Pain Management, Podiatry, Spine, Total Joints, and Urology. This facility has 4 ORs and 2 treatment rooms that run full time 5 days a week.

Must Haves:

• High school graduate
• 1 year of experience as a Scrub Tech
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
