Job Title: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) School-Based Position

Location: Ruby, South Carolina

Employment Type: Full-time



Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our school community. This position focuses on providing individualized behavioral support, assessment, and program development to students across various grade levels, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental challenges. As a BCBA in our district, youll work closely with a multidisciplinary team of educators, psychologists, counselors, and support staff to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) tailored to individual students' needs.
  • Provide direct and indirect support to students, staff, and families to promote positive behavioral growth.
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral programs.
  • Train and support school staff in implementing evidence-based behavioral interventions.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to monitor student progress and adjust programs as needed.
  • Facilitate team meetings to review student progress, behavioral goals, and modifications.
  • Communicate effectively with families to provide guidance and involve them in students behavioral plans.

Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
  • Current Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Previous experience in a school setting or with children and adolescents in an educational environment preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles, FBA, and BIP development.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Dedication to supporting and advocating for students with special needs.
