EdEx are on the hunt for a high achieving Geography graduate who is ready to hit the ground running in September and support KS3 - KS5 students with their Geography academia, ready for their exams in May. This school is located in Hounslow and they are wanting to invest in a graduate who they can enroll onto their Salaried Teacher Training programme as early as next September!

You will be working closely with students both inside and outside the classroom. You will be supporting on a 1:1 and group basis, conducting group interventions with students of various abilities. This will include those with SEN and SEMH needs.

About the role

• Geography Teaching Assistant - Aspiring Geography Teacher
• Working across KS3-KS5 with a focus on raising attainment
• Carrying out GCSE & A Level interventions
• Enrolling onto the aspiring Secondary Teacher Program (Schools Direct) from September 2025
• September 2024 Start - Full Time - contract for full academic year
• £105 - £115 per day, Monday - Friday
• Located in the Borough of Hounslow

The perfect candidate specification

• 1st Class or 2:1 degree at a Russel Group University
• A passion for teaching and supporting students with their academia
• Strong knowledge of the Geography GCSE and A-Level curriculum
• You must be able to engage and motivate the students daily
• Commitment and ambition is key for the role
