Are you a recent psychology graduate looking to gain hands-on experience working with children in an educational setting? We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and motivated individual to join our team as a Classroom Assistant.

About the Role
As a Psychology Graduate Classroom Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students with a variety of needs, including those with special educational needs (SEN), social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges, and learning difficulties. You will work closely with teachers, offering one-to-one and small group support to help students thrive both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to students in and out of the classroom
Assist with lesson planning and classroom management
Work with teachers and SEN coordinators to implement individualised education plans (IEPs)
Monitor and track student progress
Support the emotional well-being of students, fostering a positive and inclusive environmentRequirements:
A degree in psychology or related field
An interest in working with children, particularly those with SEN or SEMH
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
