Job Description

On behalf of Deutsche Bank, we are looking for an Operations Analyst- Client Services for an initial 6 month contract based on a hybrid working model from the banks London Office (Moorfields), on a PAYE day rate engagement.

Purpose of the role:

With offices in New York, California, London, Frankfurt, Milan, Lisbon, Dublin, Dubai, Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo, the Trust and Agency Services team at Deutsche Bank has long been recognised as a leader in the provision of administrative and fiduciary services to the global debt and equities markets.

As part of the Corporate Trust Debt and Agency team you will support a broad portfolio of transactions and will be required to engage directly with clients in addition to the various internal and external transaction parties who perform functions for each structure. Products in scope range across Escrow Services, Debt Repackaging, Project Finance & Eurobond transactions.

Key responsibilities

Responsible for a portfolio of transactions, assisting the Relationship Managers for their respective clients; facilitating the end-to-end process of a client's debt issuance into the capital markets.

  • Set up of new transactions into all the bank's administration systems for record keeping, document handling and revenue management within the required timelines.
  • Post-closing administration of the team's new and existing transactions as Trustee, Paying Agent, Custodian, Account Bank, Escrow Agent etc.
  • Maintaining and monitoring internal control processes and ensuring record keeping is up to date, chasing up internally or within the team as appropriate to ensure deadlines are met,
  • Making payments, dealing with account openings.
  • Monitoring and assisting with deal events and maintenance.
  • Dealing with internal and external clients.
  • Liaising with the teams internally and within operations to resolve queries.
  • Assisting team/management with adhoc tasks as business needs dictate, such as corporate actions event processing, collating data for reports to management

Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of A level or equivalent qualifications, a graduate will have a considerable advantage.
  • An understanding of the global financial services industry and debt capital markets.
  • Some knowledge of the following: payment processing, trustee and paying agency services, international or domestic clearing systems, capital markets documentation, loan administration.
  • Confident and experienced in client relationships, able to build a rapport and maintain strong relationships with clients and other internal/external stakeholders.
  • An ability to use own initiative plus be self-motivated and proactive.
  • Suitable time management and organizational skills - be able to manage own time effectively, anticipating and meeting deadlines.
  • Foreign language skills including German, Spanish, Italian, French would be beneficial
