Location: New Castle, Delaware
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, repair, and installation of HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration units.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues with HVAC equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of HVAC systems, identifying and addressing potential problems before they escalate.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with local and national building codes and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each task.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff and departments to ensure the timely completion of repairs and installations.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with formal HVAC training or apprenticeship.
- Seven (7) years of relevant experience in the commercial HVAC/plumbing
- Valid HVAC technician certification and relevant licenses as required by the state.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC system components, controls, and safety practices.
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and manuals to guide installation and repairs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- HVAC Journeyman License
