Heavy Equipment Operator II or III

We are currently searching for a Heavy Equipment Operator who will be responsible for operating various types or classes of heavy equipment in order to complete construction projects. An ideal candidate would have extensive focused experience on at least one of the following - dozers, motor graders, and/or excavators. The type of construction work the candidate will be working on will be running field - finish grade, cut blue tops, and do final clean-up.

Responsibilities for the Heavy Equipment Manager -

• Operate heavy equipment, e.g., compactors, water trucks, articulated end dumps, tractor and pans, dozers, motor graders, and excavators.
• Operate small equipment or hand tools.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip equipment inspections and report any needed repairs, broken or improperly working equipment on an equipment report.
• Submit a daily task and time report.
• Available to work weekend or holiday shifts, as scheduled

Requirement -

• At least 2 years of experience for a level II operator ($18-22/hr)
• At least 3 years of experience for a level III operator ($23-$26/hr)

Preferred Qualifications -

• High school diploma or its equivalent
• Basic mechanical knowledge
• First Aid or CPR training
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) - High quality attribute.

Compensation Package Includes -

• Starting pay range between $18-$26/hour.
