Hours of Work: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Term Time
Pay: £85-£100 per day

As an SEN Teaching Assistant specialising in Autism Spectrum Disorder, you will play a crucial role in supporting our students’ individual needs. Working closely with teachers and support staff, you will provide tailored assistance to children in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Your expertise will help create an inclusive learning atmosphere where every child can reach their full potential.
Application Requirements:
• Previous experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in a primary school setting is preferred.
• A passion for education and a strong commitment to fostering inclusive learning.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
• A relevant qualification in Special Educational Needs is advantageous but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the delivery of personalized education plans for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Support the class teacher in implementing effective teaching strategies tailored to individual learning styles.
• Foster a positive and nurturing environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
• Collaborate with parents and external agencies to ensure the best support for students.
• Help develop and maintain a rich variety of resources, including outdoor areas, that enhance learning experiences.
