With Intelligence have an exciting, newly created role of Head of Audience, bringing together the teams responsible for audience delivery across our global events. This crucial role will ensure we curate the right audience for our events; a critical success factor for every event. This role will review and develop the approach to our audience acquisition campaigns, ensuring marketing and investor relations work in tandem with one another to deliver the best possible results; achieving quality and quantity metrics set.
The ideal candidate will have experience of leading investor relations and marketing teams, be skilled in establishing and embedding best practice, be structured in their approach and able to improve existing and implement new processes. This is a senior leadership position for a strategic thinker and experienced people manager with the gravitas to drive change.
Responsibilities
- Oversees all aspects of marketing and investor relations; delivering best-in-class audiences for all events
- Creates the audience acquisition strategy for all events
- Ensures best practices in marketing campaign planning, execution and reporting. Optimise campaigns based on performance metrics, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develops a key account approach to allocator relationships; ensuring all portfolios benefit from rockstar speakers and high-quality attendees
- Ensures investor relations source best-in-class speakers for our events; helping to make our summits must-attend
- Develops sponsorship demand gen strategy
- Creates compelling messages which effectively articulate our event propositions to our audiences
- Develops the event social media strategy to generate awareness and demand
- Develops the strategy around event partner acquisition and management as a means to widen our reach and amplify our brand
- Leads on the data plan to ensure prospect and customer data is up to date and relevant
- Build, lead and mentor high-performing marketing and investor relations teams, ensuring high standards of delivery are met and maintained. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on achieving audience acquisition goals.
- Supports internal clients; commercial sales team and heads of portfolios
Requirements
- Experience of working in investor relations and marketing in a similar environment
- Solid understanding of asset management/ experience working in the sector
- Seasoned people manager with experience of managing senior team leaders
- Experience of bringing teams together and fostering collaborative working practices
- Proven ability to manage change and bring people on the journey
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise effectively and multi-task
- Numerate and commercially aware
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strategic thinker who is passionate, energetic and inquisitive
