Location: London, Hybrid working

Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits

Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Mon to Fri

What you'll do



A varied role that offers the ability to work on key consumer parts of the business, raising the profile of our propositions and helping to drive love for Vodafone as ‘The Nation’s Network’.

  • To support the team in delivery of PR and wider comms for the Vodafone consumer business in the launching of leading products and services across mobile and broadband and brand campaigns, which drive positive reputation uplift.

  • Deliver high quality, results-driven PR/external comms activity through simple but effective story telling with creative ideas and impactful comms assets (including press releases, media alerts, video, photography, social) that are engaging, understandable and relevant to our target audience.

  • Manage the regular drumbeat of products and propositions comms with our consumer PR agency (including the launch of flagship devices like Apple/Samsung and new Vodafone Home Broadband products), delivering earned media coverage via written materials, content, device review programmes etc.

  • Lead on effective external comms activity for our youth brand VOXI, from promoting new props and partnerships to highlighting market-leading deals.

  • Co-manage the Vodafone UK media inbox, reacting to incoming enquiries, consulting with relevant teams across the business and crafting accurate responses for journalists looking for information relating to the Vodafone brand.

  • Contribute to PR plans, craft external messaging to support the Consumer team and UK business objectives/ commercial targets and help ensure a positive reputation is sustained.

  • Develop PR materials including press releases, editorial content, messaging materials, statements, blogs, GMT LinkedIn posts and photocalls for traditional and social media channels.

  • Build strong relationships with Vodafone’s internal (including, brand, props, social, internal comms) and external stakeholders (including journalists and analysts) to benefit the business and its external image.

  • Oversee project reporting to highlight results and bring to life how our work/ campaigns deliver on our core business objectives.

  • Deal reactively to enquiries from a wide range of journalists in a timely and appropriate way.

  • Work collaboratively with wider CAS team, Brand, Social, Internal Comms and commercial functions, to support an integrated ‘one team approach
