Overview:

As the Staff Editor at Fuse Energy, you will serve as the voice of our brand and play a critical role in creating compelling, effective content. You will oversee a range of materials—including social media posts, blogs, reports, and marketing collateral—ensuring that our messaging is clear, engaging, and aligned with our mission.

What You’ll Do:

- Develop Communication Strategies: Design and implement comprehensive communication strategies that support our brand objectives and resonate with our target audience.

- Write & Edit Engaging Content: Produce and oversee the development of social media posts, blogs, emails, and web content that inform, engage, and inspire action.

- Shape Our Brand Voice: Establish and maintain a consistent and authentic brand voice across all channels, ensuring clarity and impact in our messaging.

- Optimise for SEO & Engagement: Enhance the discoverability and effectiveness of our messaging online.

- Support Campaigns: Create and execute content strategies for campaigns, product launches, and promotions, working closely with our CEO and cross-functional teams.

- Stay Current: Monitor trends in energy, sustainability, and communications to ensure our messaging remains relevant and effective.

- Collaborate: Work with designers, product teams, and other stakeholders to ensure all content aligns with our brand vision.

Requirements

- Experienced: at least 2 years of experience in communications, content creation, or editing, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

- Skilled: Excellent writing and editing abilities with a strong command of grammar and style. Familiarity with SEO best practices is advantageous.

- Creative: Capable of distilling complex topics into clear, engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences.

- Team Player: Ability to thrive in a collaborative, dynamic startup environment and engage effectively with cross-functional teams.
