Job Description


Our Client is looking for a highly motivated recent graduate with a passion for flavours, fragrances, essential oils, and natural products. This is a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills in a fast-paced, creative, and dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be organised and have great communications skills. You will be joining a market-leading company for a 12 month Contract. This role offers real-world exposure, working alongside dedicated teams on both long-term and short-term projects, with mentorship provided throughout.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sample Evaluation:Manage the daily evaluation of incoming and outgoing samples, ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Development Projects:Assist with the development of new flavours and fragrances, contributing to projects that showcase products in various applications and support sales presentations.
  • Customer Interaction:Take part in in-house presentations for clients and visitors, helping to demonstrate products.
  • Team Collaboration:Work closely with logistics, sales, and customers, ensuring smooth handling of samples, coordinating follow-ups, and finding practical solutions to any logistical challenges.
  • Sensory Training:Participate in sensory training to build knowledge of olfactory families and aroma chemicals, while learning how to properly handle and evaluate essential oils and natural products.
  • Physical Testing & Sensory Evaluation:Learn to carry out physical testing and organoleptic (sensory) evaluations of products. Opportunities may also be provided to learn advanced techniques such as GC analysis, HPLC testing, and titration.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in general computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with strong prioritisation skills
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and follow instructions
  • Basic laboratory skills are a plus
  • A interest in working with essential oils, fragrances, and natural products
