Master Electrician
Location: Lehi, UT
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Pay: $65,000-$75,000 annually

Summary
Responsible for carrying out installations and repairs on electrical apparatus, systems and electronic features of industrial equipment and machines adhering strictly to electrical manuals, code, power tools, diagrams and other stipulations by utilizing hand tools, power tools, test and electrical equipment.
Install, repair, and maintain all electrical components, power supply, conduit and wiring, controls, relays, UPS, solar array, distribution network, breakers, switches and motor contactors, while adhering to blueprints and electrical ethics
Troubleshoot and perform replacement on diagnosed faulty electrical elements of machine including motors, relays, and switches; and set-up sensing mechanisms
Carry out diagnosis and correct or replace malfunctioning electronic units
Carry out diagnosis and ensure replacement of pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic components of equipment and machines which are faulty
Render assistance and manage contractors’ roles for electrical duties
Organize safe maintenance principles for regulating and scheduling breakdowns

This position requires a valid driver license issued by the state of Utah
Obtain forklift driver certification within employment
Ability to operate light trucks, tractors, and stationary equipment
Capable of working with tools, including hand and electrical tools
Basic working knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems
Ability to read and utilize technical manuals and drawings
Knowledge of the mechanical operations and methods of repairing equipment
Collaborate with a team of workers and other professionals during renovations and facility expansions
Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and speak effectively with customers and/or employees.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Exceptional with scheduling and time management
Perform tasks using problem-solving skills and self-motivation
Basic use of computers to access CMMS, maintain logs and inventories, respond to service requests, and use email
Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project Manager and Google
Knowledge of basic workplace safety procedures
Required Education and Experience
Current Master Electrician License
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
Regular attendance is an essential function of the job. This is a full time position. Typical hours are 7:00am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday. Occasional weekend or evening hours required based on needs.
Travel
Frequent travel between campuses, on MTECH business, errands, or trainings is required.
