Tax Compliance Officer

A well established Auditing firm based in Stellenbosch is seeking a Tax Compliance Officer. Duties: To manage a portfolio of clients. Assist partners and clients with tax affairs. Compilation of income tax returns Administration of clients tax affairs Basic knowledge of VAT, PAYE, and other taxes. Knowledge of how SARS works. Requirements: Matric (Grade 12) Three years of work experience in the tax/compliance environment. Diploma-, Graduate- or Post-Graduate degree in Tax or Accounting Successfully completed SAIT, SAIPA, or SAICA Traineeship Must have a tax and/or finance background Competencies: Aptitude for figures. Ability to multi-task. Good people and communication skills Ability to work to deadline Good problem-solving skills. Comprehensive computer literacy. Ability to work well under pressure. Good time management skills. WIP management and achieving fee target Computer Literacy: MS Office (Outlook,Excel)
