Key Responsibilities
Atmus is Hiring his/her future EMEA HR Manager. His/her responsibilities will be:
- Responsible for a HC of ca. 540 employees across EMEA (Including one manufacturing plant in France).
- Partnering with Business and HR functional leadership in the planning and implementation of human resources initiatives and policies.
- Leading a broad range of human resources processes and being responsible for overall operational effectiveness and compliance with company policies and applicable legislation.
- Building a solid partnership with the HR Center of Excellence: Compensation Benefits, Payroll – Time Attendance, Talent Inclusion, DEI, HR Technology – Data Analytics – Labor Relations, Employment law – Ethics Compliance etc.
- Establishing strategies with business leaders to select and retain the diverse talent required to maintain a competitive advantage.
- Collaborating with business leadership to translate current and future business goals and developing initiatives and tactics to meet business objectives in alignment with the overall HR strategy and processes.
- Resolving conflict and providing coaching and counseling on HR matters for functional or organizational leadership.
- Conducting and documenting ethics investigations for business organizations or functional areas.
- Providing employee development expertise, support systems and processes focused on continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
- Ensuring accuracy and completeness of workforce information in human resources information systems.
- Communicating and consulting on all areas of HR including compensation, benefits, staffing, organizational development, employee relations, and performance management in alignment with our global HR strategy and processes.
- Coaching and mentoring 4 direct reports. Assigning work according to availability, skills, and developmental needs. Assessing performance and providing constructive feedback.
The position reports to the HR Director – Global Regions (who reports to the Group CHRO).
Work location:
- Quimper, France.
- 4 days/week on site in Quimper. Travel: < 25%
COMPETENCIES
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience required.
- Having 5 to 10 years of Plant HR experience.

- Employee Relations – Building constructive relationships with employees and other stakeholders; reinforcing consistent application of Atmus standards; applying knowledge of employment and labor law; effectively managing conflict; building and maintaining a collaborative, productive work environment through information sharing and consultation.
- Human Resources Business Process Execution – Managing the execution of Human Resources business processes, seeking efficiency, accuracy, positive business performance outcomes and operational agility; integrating activities across processes as needed; assuring compliance with process and legal requirements; effectively balancing process requirements and business leader needs.
- Human Resources Consulting – Collaborating with partners to observe the environment and applying sound judgment informed by knowledge, skills, and experiences to diagnose, identify and optimize opportunities to provide holistic solutions, while balancing the needs of stakeholders, primarily employees, with those of the organization.
- Human Resources Data Management – Acting on people data to ensure completeness, accuracy and compliance with company policy and legislative requirements.
- Organization Design – Applying Atmus Organization Design principles and tools, whilst partnering with leaders, to determine the optimal organizational design and structure to deliver strategic goals.
- Data Analytics – Discovering, interpreting and communicating qualitative and quantitative data; determining conclusions relying on knowledge of business or functional frameworks; simultaneously applying statistics, data validity, data visualization, and problem-solving approaches to effectively extract meaningful patterns and business insights; presenting conclusions and outcomes that enable data driven business decisions.
