We are recruiting dynamic, passionate, self-motivated and adventurous candidates to promote The Energy Year’s flagship products on all continents and are offering attractive entry-level compensation packages, with fast career growth opportunities.



The international communication and sales coordinator position consists of overseas posting throughout the year in the many markets The Energy Year is established in. The coordinators are tasked with meeting C-class business executives, attending leading energy events and gathering in-depth information on national energy leaders, companies and business environments.



The successful candidate has:


• Year-round availability to travel and relocate to emerging markets on all continents

• A BA/BSc or MA/MSc degree backed by a sound knowledge of international relations, economics, marketing or communications. Other majors will be considered too.

• Excellent communication skills and proven adaptability to a global environment with a curious mind

• Ambition, drive and communicative energy with a highly independent and vivacious personality

• Team-playing abilities and strong social skills

• The ability to work under deadlines and to keep a cool head under pressure

• One to three years of relevant work experience, although new graduates will be considered

• Fluency in both written and spoken English with a second language (preferably Spanish, Portuguese or French) being an advantage

• Excellent personal and professional presentation

• No travel restrictions



The job responsibilities include:


• Scheduling and conducting meetings with senior energy executives globally

• Operating a database of key companies and executives

• Establishing and executing business strategies

• Analysing market data and defining sales potential

• Negotiating and finalising partnerships, communication campaigns and advertising contracts with public institutions and private-sector companies

• Attending exhibitions, conferences and other PR and networking activities

• Working abroad throughout the year
