A highly successful luxury beauty brand is on the hunt for a Head of Creative to be based in London.
The Head of Creative plays a pivotal role in shaping the visual and creative direction of the brand.
Key Responsibilities:
Creative Leadership:
- Lead the creative team, including designers, copywriters, photographers, videographers, and freelancers.
- Develop and execute the overall creative vision for the brand.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
- Ensure consistency in brand messaging, tone, and aesthetics across all platforms.
Brand Development:
- Ensure all creative outputs align with the brand’s core values, identity, and target audience.
- Collaborate closely with product development, marketing, and sales teams.
- Drive innovation in how the brand is presented visually across various touchpoints.
Campaign Creation:
- Oversee the development of 360-degree marketing campaigns.
- Manage the end-to-end creative process for product launches, seasonal promotions, and brand partnerships.
- Work with external agencies when necessary.
Visual and Content Strategy:
- Develop and manage the visual content strategy across all digital platforms.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design and beauty trends.
- Oversee the creation of photo and video content for social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
Team Development:
- Mentor and grow the in-house creative team.
- Build and maintain relationships with freelance talent and external agencies.
- Monitor workload and prioritise projects to ensure timely delivery of creative assets.
Budget & Resource Management:
- Oversee the creative budget.
- Allocate resources effectively, managing both in-house and external creative partners.
Our ideal candidate has extensive experience in creative leadership positions within the beauty industry. A Bachelor’s degree in Design, Marketing, Fine Arts, or a related field is essential, while a Master’s degree is advantageous. A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of creative campaigns, from digital to print is crucial. You are a visionary individual, a collaborative team player and adaptable to a fast-paced environment. A keen eye for detail is crucial to ensure the highest quality of creative output.
Advanced proficiency in design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, and familiarity with video editing tools is required. A deep understanding of beauty industry aesthetics, consumer behaviour, and emerging trends is essential. Proven leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and strong problem-solving skills are also vital.
