North London (Hybrid)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead by Example: Deliver a high-quality service in line with client’s values, motivating the team, and demonstrating best practices in IPS (Individual Placement and Support) employment services.
- Dual Responsibility: Balance responsibilities to both clinical partners and Client, ensuring compliance with internal procedures.
- Caseload Management: Manage a caseload of up to 25 clients, providing advice and support to help them overcome barriers to employment and remain in work.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client activity and outcomes using Client’s CRM and the NHS Rio system.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement, leading change initiatives and problem-solving.
- Client Support: Prepare participants for employment through vocational profiling and ongoing, tailored support to help them achieve their employment goals.
- Employment Retention: Provide ongoing support to participants once they secure employment, assisting with job retention strategies.
- Employer Engagement: Work proactively with external employers to open up and secure job opportunities for participants, with a focus on the hidden labour market.
- Workplace Support: Offer advice and support to employers, including negotiating workplace adjustments and maintaining contact to ensure job retention.
- Support Needs Assessment: Assist participants with employment-related support such as benefits advice, travel arrangements, and managing health at work.
- Workshops & Training: Facilitate employment workshops and collaborate with other team members to support participants.
- Agency Collaboration: Build relationships with external agencies (e.g., colleges, training providers) to help individuals achieve their employment goals.
- Confidentiality & Professionalism: Maintain a professional relationship with clients and staff, respecting confidentiality and professional boundaries.
Other Responsibilities:
- Identify and participate in appropriate training for personal and professional development.
- Support in-house staff training and facilitate peer learning.
- Contribute to the development of a locally responsive service, particularly supporting disadvantaged communities.
- Promote and comply with all Their policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding, and Data Protection.
Requirements:
- Have a valid Enhanced DBS.
- Experience working in employment services, ideally within a clinical or supported employment setting.
- Strong case management skills with the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of the IPS model and experience in employer engagement.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders including clinical teams and external agencies.
