Graduate Operations & Finance Assistant

Location: London

Salary: £26,000

Are you a recent graduate eager to make your mark in a fast-growing tech company? We're looking for a enthusiastic and tenacious Graduate Operations Assistant to join our expanding team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple departments, including: operations, finance, technology, and customer solutions. You'll play a key role in ensuring our business runs smoothly and efficiently while supporting mission-critical projects whilst ensuring the delivery of customer solutions, invoicing and billing. As we continue to grow, this role offers excellent potential for long-term career progression in both operations and finance.


What You’ll Do:

  • Support Project Management: Assist Project Managers in delivering customer-facing projects on time and within budget.
  • Manage Orders & Invoices: Oversee the entire order processing cycle, ensuring accurate invoicing and smooth financial transactions in collaboration with the finance team.
  • Administration: Booking couriers for UK and overseas shipments including all supporting documentation and managing shipments from start to finish.
  • Assist with Financial Reporting: Help the finance team prepare financial reports, reconcile invoices, and maintain precise financial records whilst also doing account reconciliation.
  • Operational Support: Maintain documentation, provide quotes, attend customer meetings, and update CRM.
  • Shipping Management: Book and manage shipments, including documentation and tracking.
  • Support Sales Operations: Assist with generating invoices, managing client accounts, and coordinating office supplies and order fulfilment.
  • Handle Client Queries: Serve as the first point of contact for clients and customers, ensuring quick and efficient resolution of inquiries.
  • Billing Administration: Oversee billing processes and maintain billing CRM.


What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking a recent graduate with a degree in an Operations/Business/Finance background with a:

  • A passion for both operations and finance, with an eye for detail and a proactive mindset.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to approach problems with innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills- both written and verbal- and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines while staying organised and self-motivated.
  • A team player who is also comfortable working independently.
  • Previous experience in finance-related tasks or project coordination is a plus, but a willingness to learn and grow is what matters most.
