Job Overview:

As the business is entering into an exciting phase of growth, an opportunity has arisen to add a Product Owner to the team, to support the ongoing development and enhancement of our product offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overall ownership and accountability of a new feature/service offering from ideation, design right through to delivery.
• Ensuring the product meets the needs of our customers and internal teams.
• Identifying, documenting and refining requirements for the product including the high-level scope, producing processes and mock-ups, writing detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Supporting the Development and QA teams to understand the requirements.
• Participation in team meetings including sprint planning, sprint reviews and progress calls.
• Acceptance testing and signing off products as ready for customer/internal use.
• Owning the creation and maintenance of supporting documentation and other material.
• Supporting the development of the roadmap.
• Attending customer calls to understand their use cases and requirements.
• Working with other areas of the business to drive continuous improvement.
• Supporting triage and prioritisation of issues and requirements.
• Presenting demos of product and features to internal and external customers including highlighting benefits and typical user scenarios.
• Ensuring feedback or enhancement requests (whether internally or externally driven) go through the appropriate change management process.
• Identifying and defining working partnerships with other products that would enhance our portfolio.
• Assisting with deployments to customer environments.

Skills:

At least 3 years in a similar product owner or product manager role.

• Has a very high attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in an Agile environment using Scrum methodologies.
• Stakeholder management experience.
• Ability to articulate business requirements to technical audiences.
• Ability to translate technical detail to stakeholders (customer and internal).
• Ability to identify growth and enhancement opportunities within the product.
• Ability to manage own time and prioritise workload according to importance.
• Adherence to deadlines and communication of any issues which may prevent this.
• Ability to produce documentation to be consumed by customers and internal users about the product.
