Caseworker
Salary: £26,460 + Benefits - Successful candidates are subject to our Development Progression Scale, as well as annual salary reviews
Based in Newcastle - Due to regular travel the role does require access to transport (i.e. daily commutes, multi-site travel on occasion)
If successful you will be responsible for delivering 1-2-1 tailored support to a caseload of individuals serving community orders & post release Licences: assessing Health & Safety risks, managing interventions & supporting their recovery through mentoring, motivation & managing potential dependency & recovery needs.
What you will be doing?
* Managing a caseload; including high levels of need
* Delivery of 1-2-1 / group interventions & skills training
* Carrying out initial assessment, action planning, reviewing progress & engaging community services
* Delivering in a variety of venues including Ingeus community venues, Probation Offices & Police stations
To be successful you will require;
* Experience of working with vulnerable/challenging people, for example people who have complex needs etc
* Case Management experience (i.e dealing with multiple people, managing their expectations)
