About youWe are looking for a highly motivated Creative Lead who is ready to take the next step in their career towards a Creative Director role. You’ll have a strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to deliver innovative and commercially successful creative work, ideally within the luxury sector. with a strong background in idea generation, art direction and design.
This role is perfect for someone eager to step up, take ownership of projects, and prove their leadership potential. You thrive on delivering work that tells authentic, memorable stories in a data-informed environment where feedback, analytics, and emerging technologies influence the creative direction. And you have a keen interest in leveraging AI to enhance the creative process, using it to fuel ideation and streamline workflows.
The roleAs the Creative Lead, you will shape and own the creative vision for our clients and our own brand and provide hands-on leadership to our design team.
Reporting into the Editor-in-Chief, you will bring our clients' storytelling strategies to life visually, ensuring their narratives resonate across all platforms. This is a hands-on role where you will not only create but also lead, working alongside our design team to deliver high-quality, visually compelling assets.
With a sharp understanding of luxury aesthetics, AI's potential in the creative space, and a results-driven mindset, you will guide the creative delivery across all projects, ensuring cohesion, and commercial impact.
This position offers the opportunity to step into a leadership role, driving the creative vision for luxury brands while honing the skills required to become a Creative Director.
Key responsibilities- Lead and inspire the design team, providing clear creative direction and guidance to ensure high-quality, cohesive output
- Collaborate closely with the Editor-in-Chief and design team to deliver visually compelling storytelling strategies across digital and print platforms
- Conceptualise, design, and execute creative assets for luxury brands, including photography, video, social media content, website content, newsletters, digital ads, and print collateral.
- Develop the creative strategy across social media, editorial, and partnerships, ensuring sharp brand alignment and impact
- Integrate AI-driven tools to support the creative process, ideation, and efficiency improvements
- Ensure all creative work reflects clients' brand identity, tone of voice, and marketing objectives
- Present creative concepts to clients and play a key role in client meetings, offering strategic insights and ensuring the creative vision is understood and implemented
- Translate client feedback and analytics into actionable creative improvements, ensuring the final output meets both creative and commercial objectives
- Work with the leadership team to develop, assess and implement initiatives that will improve the process and culture of the company
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met without compromising quality
- Take ownership of creative projects, from concept to completion, while maintaining a collaborative approach with the wider team
- Stay current with design trends, luxury sector developments, and emerging digital marketing strategies
- Minimum of five years of experience in a design role within an agency or in-house team, ideally in the luxury or premium sector
- A strong portfolio demonstrating design skills across digital and print platforms, with a focus on luxury brands.
- A book of industry contacts and freelancers to support our creative output from illustrators to photographers, videographers and stylists.
- A passion for creativity that drives commercial success and a desire to take the next step in your career towards a leadership position
- Understanding of digital marketing strategies and how creative work supports broader business objectives
- Proven experience leading digital and creator-driven content shoots, delivering visually compelling assets that align with luxury brand narratives and marketing objectives.
- Experience in managing and mentoring, to develop the careers of our design team
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma, with knowledge of video editing andof web design and development as a bonus
- A keen interest in AI and demonstrable experience in using AI to support design.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey creative concepts to clients and internal teams
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
- A proactive attitude, comfortable taking initiative and ownership of projects
