BlueSapling - Software Development Engineer I - Backend Architecture

Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic, including database interactions and business logic. - Develop and maintain REST APIs for web and mobile applications. - Ensure high performance and responsiveness of backend services and optimize for scalability and performance. - Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. - Implement security and data protection measures in the backend systems. - Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems as needed. - Write unit and integration tests for backend services. - Optimize database performance, design efficient queries, and manage migrations. - Participate in Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Requirements : - Engineering graduates from Tier I and II premier institutes. - Strong grasp of web software architecture, OOPS, MVC, data modelling, and relational databases. - Proficiency in developing agile user stories, writing acceptance cases, and TDD. - Proficiency in REST APIs creation and Git. - Strong knowledge of server-side programming languages such as Linux, Java, Ruby on Rails. - Expertise in working with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc. - Exposure to Nginx, Docker, and Kubernetes. - Strong analytical, logical, organizing, and decision-making skills (ref:hirist.tech)
