Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities: - Perform within an engineering team. - Ability to work safely and productively in an office environment. - Self-motivated and able to work hard, act professionally and make decisions independently. - Attention to detail and a commitment to technical excellence. - Ability to lead an engineering team. - Application of technical skills to perform engineering tasks and problem solving - Responsible for project management and manage all aspects of at least one significant engineering project from start to finish, containing multiple parts. - Develop a detailed Project Plan aligned to overall deliverables and project life cycle. - Be conversant with all contractual and commercial conditions of the contract. - Effectively manage all Project Resources - Arrange and procure major and minor equipment (including secondary resources). - Manage and report on financials relating to overall Project. - Records and keeps proceedings of each meeting and files systematically to ensure accessibility. - Conduct post-mortems on completed projects. - Prepare document submission in specified format & prepare documents for signature. - Responsible for the overall tendering process for small to medium tenders with assistance - Responsible for all project related Governance and Compliance Issue, SHEQ compliance, project risks Requirements: - Relevant Diploma/ BTech Degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Industrial Engineering - Post Graduate diploma in Project Management would serve as an added advantage. - Strong PC skills including Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, AutoCAD - Good people and communication skills and an ability to interact with internal and external parties. - Strong planning, organizing and administration skills. - A valid drivers license and own transport
