Job Description

Candidate Requirements: Grade 12 Must have 3-5 years of experience in reservations within the hospitality industry Knowledge and hands-on experience of PAN Hospitality software preferred Microsoft Excel proficiency is advantageous Must have excellent communication skills in English (Written and Verbal) Should have strong organizational and time management skills Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team Should be willing to work in a remote, lodge-based setting Must have excellent customer service skills Duties: Managing the reservations process from start to finish Ensuring that lodge accommodations and experiences are sold in a way that maximises revenue whilst exceeding guest expectations Building relationships with tour operators and travel advisors by providing accurate, detailed information that serves their guests in a timely manner Optimising conversion rates of enquiries into bookings Developing bespoke itineraries for VIPs and themed trips Overseeing dissemination of correct rates and booking terms and conditions on online platforms Regular reporting on sales, income due, new business, enquiries and booking releases General office and administrative duties related to the smooth running of the reservations office This is a live-in position (live-out if candidates are based in Graaf Reinet)
