Main Role:

The Education Advisor role’s ultimate accountability is to monitor colleges’ progress and provide professional support to assigned training providers through guidance and performance monitoring in order to ensure meeting the set targets and improve colleges’ education quality.


Operational Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice and guidance to colleges to improve teaching and learning effectiveness, leadership strategy and management practice
  • To actively contribute to the development and implementation of all rules and procedures governing Colleges of Excellence tendering and contract processes ensuring compliance with all internal and applicable governmental regulations in KSA.
  • To contribute to technical proposals, bids and solutions to ensure COE can respond quickly and effectively to business opportunities.
  • To support the wider operations of COE through close cooperation with inter-departmental teams.


To support and contribute to COE in sharing best international practices relating to enhancing the skills sector in the Kingdom.

  • Support colleges in the development of Quality Improvement plans in order to improve their quality of education and training
  • Conduct regular site visits to training providers to monitor the delivery of training quality
  • Identify possibilities for assigned providers to meet requirements in a timely manner
  • Monitor colleges’ performance and maintain up to date data and reporting on the progress of colleges
  • Develop the KPIs and set performance targets for colleges to be included in college annual reviews and planning
  • Review the credentials of key college administrative staff
  • Develop and maintain relationships with CoE colleges


Education and Certifications:

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline is required (preferably related to the aviation industry).

Master’s Degree in a relevant field is a plus


Years of Experience:

Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in TVET sector

Industry experience related to aviation sector is highly desirable.

Function Specific Experience

Experience of aviation sector regulatory requirements such as FDA, CASA, EASA and others.

Previous experience in inspection, accreditation and quality assurance

  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Ability to interact with employees and colleges staff/management in a professional manner
  • Ability to present to top management and key executives
