Job Description

Worker Type: Permanent Language(s) Required: English, French Term Duration (in months): Salary Range (plus eligible to receive a performance based incentive, applicable to position) : $103,331 - $139,803 Commercial lending expertise needed A critical link between sales and corporate credit, you’ll negotiate and prepare credit submissions for loan proposals for our most complex corporate and commercial customers. This position is designated bilingual (English and French), and the successful candidate must be able to communicate in both of Canada’s official languages. What you’ll do: Assess the risk of each business and recommend loan structures Conduct research and advise your team, including Senior Relationship Managers, in preparation for meetings with key customers and prospects Complete analysis and submissions for account reviews, compliance monitoring and eligibility rulings Act as liaison between Corporate Credit and your team What we’re looking for: Aptitude for complex lending and advanced credit and risk mitigation analysis Creative thinker who can work within the confines of lending policies and procedures while ensuring the needs of complex corporate entities are met Effective communicator and relationship-builder able to work with internal partners and external resources, often through challenging negotiations Problem-solver who can identify and recommend lending opportunities What you’ll need: Undergraduate degree and at least six years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience); graduate degree is an asset
