Job Description

Overview Our client in the dairy industry is seeking a Procurement Coordinator to join their team. The successful incumbent will be responsible for purchasing processes, and supplier management, while ensuring timely, cost-effective procurement in line with the company policies. Minimum Requirements Grade 12/Matric Post matric qualification in Finance/ Commerce/ Supply-Chain or relevant 5 years’ experience in procurement, purchasing, or similar role in manufacturing Familiar with ERP software Proficient in MS Office Job Responsibilities Prepare, raise, and monitor purchase orders to support operational needs. Assist in obtaining quotations, evaluating supplier options, and securing approvals following the Procurement Policy. Collaborate with suppliers to clarify details, manage timelines, and address queries. Support tender process to compile and update preferred supplier lists for various products and services. Ensure timely follow-up on invoices and manage purchase order closures. Handle supplier and internal queries, working to resolve issues efficiently. Provide admin support, maintain procurement records, and assist in generating reports as required Key Competencies / Skills Strong organizational and time management skills Attention to detail Excellent communication skills Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and within a team Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
