Our client is one of the most prestigious wineries in the world, and they are looking for a Waiter to join their team in Cape Town - Stellenbosch. If you are passionate about guest satisfaction and delivering exceptional guest service then this position is for you Requirements: Grade 12; Preferably 3 years of previous waiter/waitress experience in a similar environment (fine dining) Basic knowledge of wine & surrounding wine regions; Hands-on experience with cash register and ordering information system; Basic math's skills; Excellent interpersonal- & communication skills; Skills and Responsibilities: Meeting and greeting guests Menu knowledge Table set up POS Systems Taking orders and delivering accurate food & drinks orders Clearing tables Upselling/suggestive selling Basic Food Hygiene Strong customer service orientation and active listener Attentive and patience for customers Comfortable in dealing with very distinguished clientele Must be well-presented Flexibility and Accountability Enthusiastic personality
