You will join a tech team of about 15 developers with a mature stack and adapted processes. Our challenge is to scale up in terms of usage, features, automation, autonomy from the clients, and tech team staffing. It means continuously adapting our stack and processes to improve our delivery throughput and quality.

Job Description

You will join our DevOps squad and work with Thomas, our senior DevOps. We are looking for a DevOps or Cloud/Infrastructure engineer to support and participate in the realization, deployment, and maintenance of our various products. You will ensure that our architecture can meet our growth and future expectations.

1. Ensure Happydemics infrastructure can handle millions of daily events with the highest SLO.
2. Bring Docker where it makes sense.
3. Build and maintain our CI/CD/QA pipeline (GitHub Actions).
4. Maintain, improve and scale our Terraform backed AWS infrastructure.
5. Help us to get the best logging, metrics, reporting and monitoring on each part of our systems.
6. Participate in architectural choices and best practices development.
7. Identify, conceptualize, and develop high-value-added technical levers with other team members.
8. Ask questions, and give your opinion on important topics or organizational improvements.
9. Improve our systems security and compliance to reach and validate a SOC II level.

Requirements:

• 3 years+ professional experience with AWS and Terraform required.
• Share the 0 downtime watchword.
• Previous experience building microservices architecture would be a plus.
• Experience with a monitoring system (such as Datadog).
• A previous experience with or knowledge of Docker.
• Secure by design principle.
• Know, share and apply coding best practices and guidelines.
• English efficient (oral and written).
• Autodidact or graduate from an Engineering school / Master of Informatics.
• Good communication and synthetics skills.
• Autonomous and meticulous.
