Responsibilities:
- Plan, direct, and control activities, including supervising site operations and managing staff.
- Manage costs and stakeholder expectations through effective communication and sound commercial decisions.
- Support the management and mitigation of contract risk with all stakeholders.
- Contribute to the delivery and production of maintenance schedules in line with SFG20, Forward Additional Services Plan (FASP), and Statements of Need (SON).
- Ensure efficient and economical operations to promote a profitable business.
- Qualified and experienced engineer in electrical or mechanical disciplines with good supervisory skills.
- Practical experience with Safe Systems of Work, including the management of JSP375 across multiple sites.
- Ability to work independently, solve problems, and make decisions.
- Willingness to perform overtime and participate in ‘out of hours on call’ as needed.
- Experience in an MOD environment is desirable but not essential.
- Competitive salary of £40,000 rising to £45,000
