Senior Node.js Engineer - Express.js/Javascript

Position Summary : We are looking for a skilled Node.js Backend Engineer with expertise in AWS and DynamoDB. This role is ideal for a self-starter who can work independently, develop high-quality solutions, and communicate effectively with clients. Note : Immediate joiners or those on a notice period (available within 10-15 days) are highly preferred. Target Years of Experience : 5 - 10 years Key Responsibilities : - Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js, Express, and JavaScript - Build, manage, and optimize RESTful APIs - Work with AWS services, including DynamoDB, Lambda, and API Gateway - Ensure high code quality through unit testing and test-driven development - Design and implement database schemas to support business processes - Integrate third-party APIs and web services - Work with front-end frameworks like Angular (preferred) Required Skills and Qualifications : - Experience : Minimum 5 years as a Backend Engineer, with at least 2 years of experience in DynamoDB - AWS Expertise : Strong hands-on experience with AWS, especially DynamoDB - Database Proficiency : Knowledge of MongoDB and MySQL/Postgres (added advantage) - Education : B.E. or B.Tech with 60% academic score in 10th, 12th, and Graduation - Additional Requirements : Familiarity with Git/GitHub for code management, individual contributor mindset, strong communication skills (ref:hirist.tech)
