We are in the process of helping our client in identifying Data Integration Specialist - Informatica Power Center Full Time role in Chennai and it is Work from Home and looking for Immediate Joiner or max 15- 30 days to join Below find details about the role and reply with your updated resume to take it forward for submission Data Integration Specialist - Informatica Powercenter Job Type : Full Time Job Positions : 2 Location : Chennai (Work From Home) Job Description : - 6 years of total work experience - 3-4 years of experience in Informatica PowerCenter with proficiency in ETL development, data integration, and data migration. - Hands-on experience in migrating ETL processes, preferably from IBM DataStage to Informatica PowerCenter. - Strong knowledge of SQL and data warehousing concepts. - Proven track record of working on data migration or ETL transformation projects. - Ability to analyze and optimize existing data pipelines, identifying areas for performance improvement. - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail in data validation and testing. - Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders. - Ability to work in a team environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. Key Responsibilities : - Data Migration and Transformation : Lead data migration activities from IBM DataStage to Informatica PowerCenter, ensuring data integrity, efficiency, and alignment with business requirements. - ETL Development and Optimization : Design, develop, and optimize ETL workflows and mappings in Informatica PowerCenter to facilitate the seamless migration of data. Work to optimize existing workflows for performance improvements and scalability. - Requirement Analysis and Solution Design : Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data transformation requirements. Translate these requirements into technical specifications and solution designs that align with project objectives. - Testing and Validation : Perform data validation and testing activities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of migrated data. Troubleshoot and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to ETL processes during migration. - Documentation and Knowledge Transfer : Document ETL processes, workflows, and mappings for future reference and knowledge sharing. Participate in knowledge transfer activities to support ongoing maintenance and operations post-migration. - Support and Troubleshooting : Provide technical support for ETL jobs and data pipelines, resolving any issues that arise during the migration process. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth migration experience.
