Mine Manager (3.1) - Mining

Description: Hire Resolve's client is seeking an experienced Mine Manager to join their prominent mining company located in the Northern Cape. Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of mining operations, ensuring optimal production and safety standards. Develop and implement mining plans and strategies to achieve operational goals. Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards. Monitor financial performance, budgeting, and resource allocation. Lead and mentor a team of mining professionals. Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize mining processes and resolve operational issues. Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to maintain a safe working environment. Requirements: Grade 12 Diploma/Degree in Mining Engineering Mine Managers' Certificate of Competency Mine Overseer Certificate (Advantageous) 10 - 15 years' opencast mining experience and minimum 5 years' experience holding a 3.1 legal appointment.
