We invite applications from outstanding candidates with expertise in all areas of thermal-fluids science including, but not limited to, renewable and sustainable energy, biomedical engineering, and advanced manufacturing applications. The integration of artificial intelligence into research plans is a plus. The appointment begins in August 2024. Duties and Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities include developing a vibrant funded research program, collaborating nationally and internationally and with faculty in our core strength area of thermal-fluids science, mentoring doctoral, masters, and undergraduate research students, teaching and developing thermal-fluids undergraduate and graduate courses, contributing to the modernization of the thermal-fluids curriculum, and engaging in impactful service. Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field is required, along with a proven ability for high quality research, and a demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence and innovation.
