Assistant Production Manager, Durbanville

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria: Grade 12 with relevant degree or diploma and excellent communication skills Technical knowledge of machinery and production planning & execution 3 years experience in relevant technical, production & planning fields Construction industry past experience beneficial Management / leadership ability Valid drivers and own transport Clear criminal record and contactable references The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to: General oversee work environment; ensure adherence to process standards; report & action incidents; attend to line performance issues; assist with preparing budgets and plans; genera administration Team management assist with management / application of HR practices; daily attendance reports; discipline; motivate team; assist with performance reviews; train / coach junior personnel; manage overtime; handle internal staff queries and issues; update job descriptions Meetings conduct / lead meetings; draw up meeting reports Safety & housekeeping Assist with ensuring equipment is maintained and inspected; inspect trucks / plant Maintenance daily plant checks; preventative maintenance schedule; fault finding; monitor fleet reports; assist with management of material sourcing Production, planning & quality ensure daily targets are met; adjusting machines; action any issues; ensure optima workflow; monitor production; stock checks; minimize wastage; implement cost saving; oversee fuel consumption Maintain healthy relations with clients and manage queries Salary: Negotiable (max offering of R40 000 monthly for a perfectly matched candidate)
