Right now, we’re looking for a motivated and ambitious Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our rapidly growing team.

Responsibilities:
As an Analyst you will:
- Play a crucial role in generating new business opportunities through proactive outbound cold calling and telesales efforts. The primary responsibility of the SDR will be to identify and qualify potential clients, initiating meaningful conversations, and nurturing relationships to ultimately pass on qualified leads to our broking team.
- Analyse financial documents and other information provided by prospective clients against an internal framework, assessing the quality of the enquiry and thereafter handing over qualified leads to the broker team
- Foster and nurture relationships with our existing panel of lenders
- Collaborate closely with the leadership team, including the CEO, CCO, and CTO, contributing to various aspects of operations, sales, and marketing.
- Continuously develop your sales, negotiation, and other skills to drive revenue for the company.
Requirements:
This is a junior/entry level role. We expect the successful candidate to have most or ideally all of the below:
- Sales Experience: Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a related field is often preferred. This could include internships, part-time roles, or full-time positions.
- Cold Calling Skills: Ability to effectively conduct outbound cold calls to potential clients with confidence and professionalism.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for engaging prospects, articulating product value propositions, and building rapport.
- Active Listening: Ability to actively listen to prospect needs, ask relevant questions, and identify opportunities for further engagement.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Demonstrated ability to prioritise customer satisfaction and tailor sales pitches to meet individual client needs.
- Resilience and Persistence: Willingness to handle rejection and maintain motivation in a high-volume, fast-paced sales environment.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, particularly with the broking team, to facilitate lead handover and support the overall sales process.
- Results-Driven: Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Adaptability: Capacity to quickly adapt to changing priorities, strategies, and market conditions.
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Product Knowledge: Basic understanding of the financial products and services offered by the firm, with a willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on industry trends.
- Time Management: Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively to maximise productivity.
- Ethical Conduct: Commitment to conducting sales activities with integrity, adhering to company policies and industry regulations.
- Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and take initiative in generating leads and driving sales efforts.
