Job Title: Plumbing Lecturer (Level 2)
Location: Derby
Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time (37 hours per week, 24 hours teaching)
Pay Rate: £35 per hour + 12.07% holiday pay
About the Role:
Are you passionate about shaping the next generation of plumbing professionals? We are seeking a dedicated Plumbing Lecturer to teach Level 2 plumbing students at a leading college. This is a temporary full-time position with the potential for an early finish on Fridays. With a permanent staff member recently departing, there is an opportunity for this role to become permanent for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching to Level 2 plumbing students.
Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials that meet curriculum requirements.
Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback on student progress.
Support and guide students to help them achieve their educational goals.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning environment and contribute to curriculum development. Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum Level 2 Plumbing qualification; Level 3 is highly desirable.
Some teaching experience is required; however, a formal teaching qualification is not essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A genuine passion for education and student success.
