Electrician
Harrogate, £30000, on-call pay and overtime available, public sector benefits, 37.5 hours per week.
Immediate opportunity for an Electrician with experience in HVAC, commercial plumbing, refrigeration or similar to undertake a day shift, site-based maintenance role.
The role:
Attending breakdowns and undertaking planned and preventative maintenance
Working with plant and associated equipment, heating, ventilation and boiler controls, alarm systems,
Assisting in the installation of new plant equipment, HVAC installation, and maintenance work
Building control and automation,
Hot and Cold water systems, security access control.
Liaise with the Maintenance Supervisor regarding plant or equipment failures and request the supply of goods and or services as necessary.
Carry out planned preventive maintenance inspections
Complete all report sheets and test certificates as necessary.
Follow planned maintenance schedules.
The Person:
Experience working in manufacturing, Industrial, facilities, buildings maintenance or commercial-based electrical roles.
A can do attitude and a proven background and a stable career in engineering.
A recognised and registered CITB or EITB apprenticeship and minimum NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering.
