Your Role
Plan and Deliver: craft and deliver engaging English lessons up to GCSE-level.
Assess and Feedback: provide students with regular assessments and constructive feedback to foster their academic growth.
Learning Environment: create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that fosters a love for Language and Literature. Assess and monitor student behaviours and take necessary action. Tailor lessons according to the needs of the students, in particular SEN and SEMH.
Collaborate: work closely with the English Department and Learning Support Assistants to enhance overall learning experience.
Share Best Practices: participate in departmental and staff meetings to exchange ideas and strategies and for professional development.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you will need:
Qualifications: QTS and an Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service.
Knowledge and Skills: An understanding and preferably experience of teaching English up to GCSE-level, and the ability to adapt lessons according to the level and capacity of the class. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for English Education and helping young people reach their full potential.
Resilience and Positivity: A strong, positive attitude with the ability to inspire and engage students.
