REGION INSPECTOR/INVESTIGATOR

You will serve as a REGION INSPECTOR/INVESTIGATOR in the Regional Office of the Inspector General (OIG) of COMMANDER NAVY REGION EUROPE Capodichino, Italy. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of specialized experience for this position may include the following: Interpreting pertinent laws, regulations, policies and precedents relating to investigative concerns, audits, inspections, and studies; Investigating fraud, statutory violations and noncompliance with administrative requirements by applying laws, U.S. Codes, appropriation law, Federal statutes and DoD regulations; Planning, executing and following-up on inspections, audits and acceptable Inspector General (IG) and audit standards and practices; Constructing logical conclusions and recommending course of action regarding the integrity, efficiency and effectiveness of the processes, programs and activities.
