Job Description

You will serve as a MARINE TRANSPORTATION SPECIALIST in the Commander, Sealift Command, Europe/Commander Task Force Sixty Three. This position is responsible for administering sea lift programs relevant to ocean transportation. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Administer sealift programs relevant to ocean transportation (i.e., dry cargo, ocean tugs, oilers and special project operations); Direct and coordinate operational matters concerning the loading, discharging, routing and mailing of controlled dry cargo and tanker vessels; Plan and direct ship surveys including cargo loading and discharge inspections to support mission requirements.
