Job Description

The suitable candidates main responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to the following: Adhere to health and safety rules and regulations. Available to be on standby if and when required. Adhere to standard agreement as signed between the Company and the Client. Attend and perform site assessments. Project Management: Experience managing technical projects, preferably in the security industry. Vendor Management: Experience working with security system vendors, including contract negotiation and management. Preferred qualifications, attributes, and skills: PSIRA Registered. Grade 12 or higher. Good commination skills English. Drivers licence passenger vehicle at least. Experience in Security Systems: 5-7 years of experience in the installation, management, and maintenance of security systems, including alarms and CCTV. Proficiency on Access Control Systems with Saflec in particular. Certifications: Avigilon Certification: Avigilon Control Center (ACC) certification is highly recommended. Additional certifications in specific Avigilon products or solutions can be advantageous. Milestone Certification: Milestone Certified Integration Technician (MCIT). Milestone Certified Design Engineer (MCDE). Advanced certifications such as Milestone Certified Integration Engineer (MCIE) can be beneficial. Technical Skills: CCTV and Alarm Systems Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of CCTV, IP video surveillance systems, and alarm systems. Networking: Strong understanding of network configuration, management, and troubleshooting. Software Skills: Proficiency in relevant software applications, including video management software (VMS) and integration platforms. Technical Documentation: Ability to create and understand technical documentation, including design schematics, system architecture, and user manuals. Soft Skills: Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Leadership: Ability to lead and manage a team of technicians and engineers. Customer Service: Strong customer service orientation and the ability to interact with clients effectively.
