The main purpose of the Vyne Operations Manager is to manage the performance of the Vyne warehousing operation as well as the team, guaranteeing end user satisfaction through achieving objectives whilst keeping within the parameters of agreed financial budgets as well as exceeding targets.
You will take ownership for, and deliver on key objectives and successfully manage our anticipated growth of Vyne’s Ecomm platforms and sales which are generated by our own sales teams via NHS Trusts – always driving and delivering sustainable and progressive change in the operations!
Responsibilities
- Full budgetary responsibility for all Vyne related operations
- Take the lead in ensuring a safe and compliant operation in order to protect all employees and visitors within the warehousing environment in line with relevant Health & Safety legislation
- Maintain site and equipment to legal, regulatory and internal standards
- Manage operations directly, both daily/ weekly (tactical) and long-term (strategic) basis
- Drive continuous development and accommodate growth of volume in line with agreed Optimum sales strategy
- Ensure timely despatch of orders in line with agreed SLA’s and performance targets
- Collaborate working across all departments ensuring delivering success as a team
- Execute and deliver strategic cost-saving initiatives
- Understand the key drivers of the operation, managing accurate and meaningful weekly KPI reports
- Ensure that the operation is representative of the Optimum and Vyne brand, company mantra and values
- Hold daily team meetings/briefs to ensure effective communication between employees
- Hold and oversee 1-2-1 reviews and annual appraisals with employees reporting directly to you in order to maintain a high level of individual performance within the team
- Have ownership of escalated operational issues within the Vyne operation
- Responsibility for creation and maintenance of SOP’s to provide robust systems and process
- Ensure operations are planned & controlled in a pro-active manner to include daily resource planning in line with forecasts and strict control of employee absence and holiday allocation
- Responsibility for all recruitment within the Vyne operation
- Effective stock control management
- Consistent management and reporting of carrier performance to include cost, always delivering best and most cost-effective solution for Optimum Medical
- Oversee cross training of the team to be certain that each area of daily operations has cover at times of absence and holidays
- Generate a monthly board report relating to the Vyne operation, format to be agreed
- Collaborate with Optimum Medical (OM) Warehouse manager on all aspects of site, safety and shared operational activities and resources
Requirements
- Warehouse operations experience in a similar role
- Stock and inventory management experience
- Experience in team management including recruitment, performance management, training and effective and motivating leadership
- Knowledgeable around Health & Safety and compliance
- Experience in developing and implementing efficient warehouse processes and layouts
- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
- Driven and inspiring personality with a willingness to take ownership
- Strong organisational and planning abilities to maintain high performance
- Experience in digital software and data analysis
- Ability to resolve issues and identify trends to improve operations

Salary will be circa £40,000 + lots of other benefits listed below. In this role you will be based at VyneYard, part of our OptiDepot in Bradford.
