Sous Chef

We are currently recruiting for a Sous Chef at Sky Studios Level 3.

Location: Sky UK Limited, TW7 5QD
Rate of pay: £38,000 per annum
Working pattern: 40 hours 5 over 7 days, weekend and evenings included (7:00-15:30 or 13:30-22:00)

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the head chef to create and refine menu items, ensuring quality and creativity in dishes
• Oversee kitchen personnel, including line cooks and prep cooks, to ensure efficient operation and adherence to food safety standards
• Prepare and cook food items, maintaining high standards of presentation and flavor, while following recipes and portion controls
• Regularly check the kitchen's stock of ingredients and supplies to ensure that everything is available when needed
• Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, safety practices, and how to use equipment, creating a supportive and skilled team atmosphere
