Global IT Procurement Sourcing Manager, Directorship Talent Pool – Iconic FTSE 100 Technology FMCG Brand - £70,000-£95,000 + Bonus + Benefits – central London ( hybrid working) + Possibility of International Secondment

This global Financial Firm has enjoyed dramatic growth over the last decade, resulting in an explosion in their expenditure which now exceeds £11bn+. As a consequence the Board are taking a keen interest in optimising spend efficiency, and with a newly instated CPO the Procurement function are in a strong position to drive towards best-in-class.

As a part of this ongoing transformation the company are seeking a commercially savvy Procurement specialist passionate about cutting edge technology to join at Management grade and progress towards Procurement Directorship within a short time period.

Global IT Procurement Sourcing Manager, Directorship Talent Pool position overview:-

• Quickly building strong and fruitful relationships with Executive stakeholders across IT and Finance communities, leveraging off Procurement’s recent successes to position Procurement in the driving seat for high-profile projects
• Autonomously managing complex cross-border IT & Technology procurement deals across Applicant Development & Maintenance, Cloud / Hosting, IT Resale, IT Consultancy, Professional & Managed Services, Outsourcing and Telecoms
• Collaborating with the Global IT Procurement Director, benefiting from a personally tailored development plan to help you usurp their position within 12-18 months
• Mentoring and coaching less experienced IT Procurement Specialists, demonstrating best-in-class and instilling a high performance culture across the Procurement community
• Being eligible for international secondment or permanent placement across Europe, USA, Asia and Australasia

Required background:-

• Global IT Category knowledge
• CV that clearly demonstrates impressive procurement achievements ( % cost savings delivered, risk mitigated, strategic supplier relationships established / consolidated, stakeholders influenced etc)
• Impressive track record within Procurement, Strategic Sourcing and Category Management, ideally within a Global Blue Chip setting
• Degree & MCIPS (preferred though not essential)
