MEP Design Engineer

Madisons Recruitment are currently working with a medium-sized main contractor of whom are one of the UK's leading contractors in their sector. They are currently recruiting for a Mechanical & Electrical Designer to join their team on a permanent basis.

Job role:

Oversee and complete electrical drawings
Provide help from the initial idea to final stages of development.
Assist with site surveys and building reports for solution development.
Produce and design calculations for different projects.
Adhering to the company H&S policy.
Monitor, co-ordinate and control the flow of M&E design information to ensure the timely release of information for construction activities.
Assist in optimising the design processes that are currently in place.
Work closely with senior M&E Electrical team.
Requirements:

Knowledge of Building Sector.
Previous employment as a M&E Co-ordinator, Building Services Coordinator or Electrical Design Engineer, Electrical Designer, Project Engineer, M&E Supervisor, M&E Project Manager or Graduate Engineer.
Previous Main Contractor employment would be ideal but not essential, Engineering Consultancy and M&E Subcontractor backgrounds also considered.
Good communication skills.
Relevant industry qualification (Degree / HND / HNC etc).
This role is to be considered at all levels from graduates to design managers.
