Job Description
Job Title: SEN English Teacher
Pay Rate: £30.82
Location: Birmingham
Hours: Monday and Tuesday, 9:00am – 2:30pm
Smart Education is currently recruiting for an SEN English Teacher to work in Birmingham, specialising in delivering GCSE/Functional Skills English to students with additional needs, including autism, ADHD, Down’s Syndrome, and other learning disabilities. With class sizes capped at eight students and additional TA support, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a focused, supportive environment.

Job Requirements for this SEN Teacher role in Birmingham:
• QTS Qualified
• Minimum of four years’ experience in a school or college setting
• Proficiency in creating Schemes of Work (SOW) and lesson plans, supported by a catalogue of resources
• Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs
• Commitment to engaging and inclusive teaching methods
This role involves working with SEN students in a supportive team, helping them achieve their learning goals and fostering a positive classroom experience.
