Job Title: Aeronautical Engineer (Jnr Snr) Location: Cape town - Airport City Salary: Market related Vacancy Type: Full-Time Closing date for applications: End Dec 2024 A Junior Aeronautics Engineer position is also available for recent graduates or those with up to 2 years of experience. Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required: Bachelors degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. Senior position : Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in aeronautical engineering. Junior position : Up to 2 years of experience in aeronautical engineering (internships or relevant projects considered). Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and simulation tools. Beneficial requirements: Strong knowledge of aerodynamics, aircraft systems, and industry regulations (e.g., FAA, EASA). Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry standards. Duties and responsibilities: Design and analyze aeronautical components and systems to ensure they meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards. Conduct testing and simulations to evaluate aircraft performance, ensuring design compliance with industry regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support the development and integration of new technologies into aeronautical systems. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design reports, specifications, and test procedures.
