London (Hybrid working, with a minimum of 2 days in the office)
The Organisation
Our client helps hospitals do more through grants, arts, volunteering and fundraising.
They are now looking for a Finance Officer to join them on a full-time, fixed-term contract until 31st October 2025, working 35 hours per week.

The Role
As a Finance Officer, you’ll be supporting the healthy finances of the charity with a particular focus on income sources.
Specifically, you will ensure income is processed, reconciled and recorded accurately, manage the sales ledger, get involved in banking activities, undertake system administration and support the management of the mail.
Processing, posting, and reconciling statements to cashbook entries, you will manage donation income records in a fundraising CRM and reconcile this against various sources, managing any discrepancies.
Additionally, you will:
- Manage and distribute sales invoices and track outstanding balances
- Process bank receipts and communicate updates to non-finance staff and the wider organisation
- Maintain alignment and data accuracy across the CRM and finance systems
- Participate in ad hoc finance projects and support system improvements
About You
To be considered as a Finance Officer, you will need:
- Proven experience in finance or accounting, especially in transaction processing and reconciliation
- Proficiency in financial and CRM systems
- Excellent accuracy, organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvements
